Christopher (Chris) Adas is the Co-Chair of the Next Century Conservation Plan’s Economics Committee. Chris has been with the Forest Preserves of Cook County (FPCC) since 2008. In his role as the FPCC’s Real Estate Agent, Chris is responsible for directing the FPCC’s land acquisition efforts including strategic planning, negotiations, deal structuring, due diligence, valuations and condemnations, as well as general real estate matters. Over the past 7 years, Chris has played a key role in the acquisition of over $70 million of real estate, adding over 1,300 acres to the FPCC’s holdings. Prior to his time at the FPCC, he was managing principal of a boutique real estate investment and development firm in Chicago.
Chris is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and Chicago Association of Realtors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Roosevelt University and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Roosevelt University’s Chicago School of Real Estate with concentrations in finance and development.
