Lenore Beyer-Clow

Lenore Beyer-Clow is Director of Policy and Planning for Openlands, where she leads Openlands’ policy agenda and manages projects to protect water, land and natural resources throughout the Chicago region. Lenore spearheaded the effort to create the Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge, on the Illinois – Wisconsin border and connects regional local food systems to farmland protection. Lenore is President of the Illinois Environmental Council and serves on the Illinois Endangered Species Protection Board.
